In Massachusetts, you can vote early in all statewide elections. You don’t need an excuse to cast an early ballot.
You can vote early in person or by mail.
You must apply every year and when you apply, it can be for the whole year.

Absentee Ballots are available in the City Clerk's Office up until 12:00 P.M. the day before an election.

If you are able to come into the office to complete your application you may print out the application, mail it to the City Clerk's Office, 95 Pleasant Street, Room 121, Gardner, MA 01440. Once we receive your application, we will mail you a ballot. Please allow yourself enough time so we can mail your ballot and receive it back from you on Election Day.
