Business Sponsorship Opportunities
The below programs were implemented as a way to beautify the City of Gardner. Sponsorships were created as a way for businesses, non-profits and organizations to advertise.
Banner Sponsorship
Banners are placed on the Victorian light poles throughout Downtown Gardner.
If you are a Gardner business, non-profit, or organization and you would like to sponsor one or more banners, please fill out a sponsorship form and return it to the Economic Development Coordinator by the sponsorship deadline. As there are 5 options for banner designs (Eat, Play, Live, Shop, and Work), sponsorship forms should be marked with your first and second choice for banner style.
The cost per banner is $200 for the season (May through November).
If you have any questions, would like to request a sponsorship form, or want to submit your completed sponsorship form, please contact Amber LaBonte, Economic Development Coordinator at alabonte@gardner-ma.gov.
Flowerpot Sponsorship
Flowerpots are placed throughout Downtown and South Gardner. All flowerpots are planted and maintained by a local landscaper.
If you are a Gardner business, non-profit, or organization and you would like to sponsor one or more flowerpots, please fill out a sponsorship form and return it to the Economic Development Coordinator by the sponsorship deadline.
Each sponsored flowerpot will have a sign stating that it is sponsored by (your business name). Logos can be included on these signs in place of the business name if desired.
Cost per flowerpot is $200 for the season (May to November, weather permitting).
If you have any questions, would like to receive the sponsorship form, or want to submit your completed sponsorship form, please contact Amber LaBonte, Economic Development Coordinator, at alabonte@gardner-ma.gov.
Flower Box Sponsorship
There are several flower boxes in downtown Gardner that can be sponsored by maintaining your own flower box. The cost of sponsorship is the cost of plants and your time maintaining the box.
If you have any questions or would like to sponsor a flower box, please contact Amber LaBonte, Economic Development Coordinator, at alabonte@gardner-ma.gov.

Island Maintenance Sponsorship
There are several traffic islands throughout the city that can be sponsored. These islands are all situated on main, highly traveled roads, ideal for advertising your business, non-profit, or organization.
This program requires the sponsor to plant and maintain the plants/flowers. The cost associated with this program is the cost of the plants/flowers and your time spent maintaining the island(s).
Sponsorship begins in April each year and ends once snow falls - typically sometime in November. Each year, sponsors must sign and return an agreement to maintain the island(s) for this time period.
If you have any questions, would like to sponsor an island, or submit your completed island maintenance agreement, please contact Amber LaBonte, Economic Development Coordinator, at alabonte@gardner-ma.gov.
