[ARCHIVED] Yard Waste Pickup for the month of November

November Yard Waste Pickup has 2 weeks of service:  The week of Nov 2nd-5th and the week of Nov 16th-19th for Gardner residents on their regular trash pickup day.  This will be the final pick up of 2021.  Reminder: Grass clippings and leaves may be placed in curbside in paper yard waste bags, loose in open barrels with no lid, or in open cardboard boxes by 7am on their regular trash day.  There is no limit to how many containers or bags of yard waste you can put out. Sticks less than 2 inches thick and up to 3 feet long may be place out in bundles. Yard waste may not include rocks, gravel, sod or dirt.  All bundles and containers must weigh less than 50 pounds each.  If your yard waste is not removed when scheduled, please call Waste Management Call Center within 48 hours to report at 800-972-4545. 

A FREE Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day which is sponsored by EL Harvey & Son’s will be on SATURDAY NOVEMBER 13, 2021 from 9am-noon at the Gardner Transfer Station, located at 744 West St, Gardner MA.  Document shredding services will also be provided at this event.  Please bring a photo ID as proof of Gardner residency is required.  More details and permitted items: https://www.gardner-ma.gov/691/Hazardous-Waste
